The company Opera has opened the possibility to users of its browser for Android to buy cryptocurrency Ethereum (ETH) for Fiat money directly via the built-in crypto.
Implement new service was possible thanks to the cooperation with cryptocurrency broker Safello, which provides the exchange of Fiat currency for cryptocurrency. Payments can be made using credit and debit cards, and also checked the payment networks, including Swish in Sweden, said the company in a statement.
Initially the new service will be available to users in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The identity of buyers of cryptocurrency will be checked through solution verification BankID and NemID. In Opera believe that the decision from Safello will reduce the time of replenishment ETH “with hours, or even days to less than a minute.”
“We think the next important phase for cryptocurrency will use them, and in order to achieve wider implementation, they should be easy to purchase and simple to apply. We believe that the browser will be the entry point for many applications. Thanks to our partnership with Safello we are taking another step in this direction”, — said the head of the product division Crypto Opera Charles Hamel (Hamel, Charles).
Recall that the Opera presented intended for use on the Web 3 browser for Android devices with integrated crypto in December. The product supports operation with the ETH, the tokens created by the standards of ERC-20 ERC-721, as well as work Еthereum-dapp.
