Japanese ecommerce giant Rakuten has completed the registration with the regulators of its cryptocurrency exchange Wallet Rakuten, which will start next month.

Online retailer has acquired the Tokyo Everybody’s crypto currency exchange Bitcoin in August last year for $2.4 million At the end of March the exchange will cease service to customers and under the new name, according to the approval of the regulator, will begin work in April.

“Rakuten Wallet as exchange of virtual currencies will contribute to the sustainable growth of the market, and will further improve safety and provide better services to more customers can use it safely and confidently,” — said in a press release.
