On 8 August, the bitcoin exchange BitMEX has been registered a record daily trading volume of bitcoin futures 1 027 21 XBT, according to the Finance Magnates.
Note that BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes associates increased community interest to cryptocurrency derivatives market with the implementation of a perpetual swap for a pair of ETH/USD, allowing to play with the dynamics of the course Ethereum without having to buy the underlying asset and put options call and put.
The mark of 1 million XBT was reached on July 25.
