Institutional Fund managing digital assets, Morgan Creek Digital has invested $3.1 million in startup RealBlocks specializing tokenization of real estate.

The funding round was led by firm Science Inc., investing in projects at early stages of development. Also in the round participated Zelkova Ventures, Ulu Ventures and Cross Culture Ventures.

According to CEO and founder RealBlocks Perrin Coarse funds raised will help accelerate the development of the platform.

RealBlocks is a platform based on Ethereum, which allows firms to raise capital through licenzirovanie securities. Investors, in turn, can purchase property using cryptocurrency and Fiat currency. Also the platform provides investors access proposals for private investment in assets located around the world.

According to founder and partner Morgan Creek Digital Anthony Pompliano, in the future, “all stocks, bonds, currencies and commodities will be licenzirovanie”. This, according to him, is the main reason why his company supported RealBlocks.

Recall that last month Morgan Creek Digital, Susquehanna, Akuna Capital, Galaxy Digital and Fidelity have invested $4 million into the company BlockFi providing a secured digital currency borrowings in US dollars.
