Ex-Goldman Sachs partner Mike Novogratz increased its share in specific cryptocurrency trading Galaxy Digital Bank, according to Bloomberg.

Currently CEO of Galaxy Digital owns 221.2 million common shares, representing 79.3% of the total. Prior to that, Novogratz had 213.7 million shares (76.6%). Thus, Mike Novogratz bought 7.5 million shares of the company (2.7% of the total number in circulation) in the amount of 7.42 million canadian dollars ($4.8 million).

Stock Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd, which is listed on the canadian TSX Venture Exchange, reacted to the news with a growth of 16%.

Apparently, Mike Novogratz is optimistic. So, last month, he expressed confidence that the bearish trend of bitcoin coming to an end.
