According to a press release, a limited number of messenger users will receive tokens in the online store Kin Marketplace Beta for participating in polls and quizzes, as well as for curriculum development. It is not known who will be included in the list of testers.
Kin can be spent on buying premium themes and tools for customization.
“We built Kin in the projects that users are already using Kik, and did it as simply and smoothly”, — said the product Manager Kik Laura Newton.
According to her, the new EIC will show an example to its partners how to implement Kin in their own software products.
The first transaction in the blockchain Kin will be through the online store, to get to that users will be able through messenger. In Kin Foundation also said that transactions in the private network will be free.
