LMAX Exchange Group, announced the launch of the first cryptocurrency exchanges to institutional investors. The exchange, which is called LMAX Digital, will allow them to trade five different cryptocurrency, writes financemagnates.com.
Commenting on the decision to open the new exchange, CEO of LMAX Exchange, David Markerscase:
Users Digital LMAX will initially be able to trade just five different cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Bcash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP). They were chosen because of stitutes the most famous and, more importantly, provide the highest level of liquidity.
The new market operates and will initially be limited to the London datacenter LMAX. This will change in the coming months, as the firm plans to open a LMAX Digital infrastructure in Tokyo and new York.
Besides the fact that to date, it is the only cryptocurrency exchange to institutional investors, LMAX Digital offers a range of benefits to traders into its platform, offering a full storage solution.
