The crypto currency exchange Kraken announced the purchase of the London platform Crypto Facilities service that specializiruetsya to trade cryptocurrency derivatives.
On the platform Crypto Facilities individual investors and funds around the clock to carry out trading operations with this asset class. As a pioneer of the industry, the company was the first organized treatment of futures on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple (XRP), Litecoin, Bitcoin and Cash.
Crypto Facilities has also created and calculates the leading index of the value of bitcoin, which was adopted by the Chicago stock exchange as an underlying asset of a futures contract for bitcoin, launched in December 2017.
As a result of purchase of the platform company Kraken clients would have access to futures trading on the six cryptocurrency pairs that will provide them with the opportunity to trade in any market environment.
The exact transaction value was not disclosed, but according to the Kraken, is a figure with eight zeros.
In the course of the transaction, all investors sold their stock of the Kraken, including the largest investor Crypto Facilities — venture capital Fund Global Target.
