25 Aug 2014 was launched the iconic magazine about cryptocurrency and the blockchain ForkLog! The project was created by two people without any funding, but he not only survived, but also became the most widely read publication about the cryptocurrency and the blockchain in the former Soviet space.
Over the past year happened many came to us and SBU, we sued, we handed out awards, threatened… in General, the most common year of life independent media. But most importantly, we read, scolded, criticized, praised and even admired us that you, our readers. Just for you from morning to late evening every day of the week the editorial Board tries to quickly translate the most important news, to look for exclusive information, to interview and to write articles and reviews on the most burning topics.
By the way, according to our data, you, dear reader, mainly based in Russia, mainly in Moscow, St. Petersburg and major Siberian cities. In Ukraine the interest in the topic of cryptocurrency over the past few months has decreased, but about 20% of our audience lives there: we are actively reading in Kiev, Odessa and Lviv, and in Ternopil, and Zhytomyr haven’t heard about cryptocurrency and the blockchain, which is sad. Belarus closes the top three, but it’s the percentage of our readers is growing, as they say, exponentially.
Over the past year the proportion of our female audience is up 10%! This is a great victory, as in previous years, this figure barely reached 3%. Girls, keep it up! And yet 90% of the readers ForkLog is men from 25 to 40 years old interested in travelling, cars and technology. Apparently, it is the educated and affluent, which we are very happy.
Just think, in a year our website was visited by over 10 million living, private and beautiful without a doubt people, all together they looked through the various pages ForkLog tens of millions of times! Very nice and important fact: 35% of our audience visit the site daily and directly, not through social networks and search engines. This is the most loyal of our audience, which we immensely appreciate.
