FINTECH company Intuit received a patent for processing bitcoin payments through text messages. The corresponding document was published on the official website of the Office for patents and trademarks (USPTO).
The document describes a method to transfer funds between users through mobile phones under the system of virtual accounts. It is noteworthy that for the first time this patent application was filed by the company in 2014.
“We are talking about the method of payment processing. It involves the receiving payment service text message from the sender indicating the amount of payment and the identification number of the mobile device of the recipient”, — is spoken in the application.
In Intuit also proposed several methods of validation of test messages, including the use of voice mail.
We will remind, the project developers Lite.IM going to allow users to share coins with LTC via SMS and Telegram messenger.
