The Supervisory Board for the futures market of Indonesia signed a decree on the recognition of digital currencies exchange goods and permitted trade cryptocurrency futures. This was announced by the head of Department, Dharma Yoga, writes the Jakarta Post.

The publication notes that the decision was made after four months of research on this issue.

It is also noted that in the near future the Central Bank of Indonesia and its tax division will complete the development of rules to regulate the activities of cripture in the country and their taxation.

“In order to prepare a comprehensive regulatory framework, the Agency appealed to local cryptomeria to those made own suggestions with regards to potential regulation,” — said the Dharma Yoga.

We will remind, in January the Bank of Indonesia stated that cryptocurrencies can’t be legal tender in the country. At the end of the same month, the Central Bank announced plans to issue digital rupees “to improve the efficiency of the payment system”.
