In the city of Abdulino Orenburg region convicted the eleventh-grader who sold to an unknown individual malicious software for $1250 in bitcoin. This was reported today by “Moskovsky Komsomolets Orenburg” with reference to the press service of Abdulinskiy district court.

According to available information, the student with self-written malware is designed to bypass computer security, and also for blocking, download and copy information and put it up for sale for the cryptocurrency.

Soon the young hacker found a buyer, who translated his cryptocurrency wallet $1250 in bitcoin. As explained in court, the money student needed in online games and sports betting.

About the transaction it became known to employees of regional government of FSB of Russia. Security officers detained the student and confiscated his malicious software. Following consideration of the case in court, he was fined 3 thousand rubles.

The identity of the buyer malicious software is still not installed.

Recall that in mid-March, the experts of antivirus company ESET found three infected apps in the software catalog Download.com. The malicious code was distributed along with legitimate software and designed to steal bitcoins.
