The tax administration of Denmark by decision of the authorities of the country will release data about the operations of users on three of the cryptocurrency exchanges over the period January 2016 to December 2018, including information such as names, addresses and account numbers of taxpayers. In this case the regulator will be able to ensure that the holders of the cryptocurrency correctly paid taxes for transactions with them, and the information on the activities of residents of other jurisdictions will be forwarded to the relevant authorities of these countries.
