The developers of cryptocurrency hardware wallet KeepKey added to the device native support for token standard ERC-20.

Now users wallet KeepKey can in the device to send, receive and exchange between themselves 30 different Ethereum tokens without involvement of a third party.

According to technical Director Ken Hodler, native support for standard ERC-20 will make the process of user interaction with the device from KeepKey easier and safer.

“We support token-ERC-20 is unique because it is completely natural. This means that we don’t connect to a third party, for example, to MyEtherWallet”, he added.

When dealing with tokens screen KeepKey wallet to send the transaction displays the name of the token, amount, destination address, and the price of gas.

Currently supports the following KeepKey ERC20-tokens: Aragon, Augur, Basic Attention Token, Civic, District0x, FunFair, Golem, Gnosis, OmiseGo, SALT, Bancor, ICONOMI, Melon, SwarmCity, Wings, iExec, Status, Numeraire, Metal, TenX, Qtum, 0x, FirstBlood, Ripio Credit Network, SingularDTV, DigixDAO, WeTrust, Matchpool, Edgeless and Storj.
