According to police, the app that allowed you to access the accounts of holders of cryptocurrencies on the exchanges and in gaming applications for withdrawal of funds were distributed for money on closed forums for hackers.
During the search of the premises where the suspect in the illegal intervention in job of computers, systems and computer networks (part 2 of article 361 of the CC of Ukraine), police seized computer equipment, mobile phone and flash drive that were sent for examination. It is expected that the experts will determine the number of victims and decide on further action against the hacker. At the moment it is threatened by imprisonment for a term not exceeding six years and a ban on certain occupations and activities in some areas for three years.
