Google announced a change in the rules regarding the advertising of financial products and services according to which since October this year, the services for the exchange of cryptocurrency in the USA and Japan will get the permission for placing ads on the sites of the company.

To do this, after updating the rules, advertisers will have to obtain the appropriate certificate in the Google office for the country where you will be shown these ads.

“These rules will take effect in all countries and apply to any accounts that advertise these financial products,” said the company.

However, Facebook, which has banned the advertisement of ICO and cryptocurrency in late January, and June published a Supplement to the policy on prohibited advertising of financial products and services, in which he stated that from June 26, allows to publish an ad of cryptocurrencies and related content, as if the advertiser had the procedure prior approval.
