Google on 23 July announced a partnership agreement with two blockchain companies — Digital Asset and BlockApps. This agreement will allow it to offer its own cloud platform Google Cloud Platform (GCP) new solutions for blockchain developers.

Digital Asset provider blockchain solutions for financial industry technology and BlockApps offers a platform for running decentralized applications.

In a statement made on the eve of the conference Google Cloud Next ’18, representatives of the Corporation have promised that this year users will have the opportunity to test with the protocols of Ethereum, and Hyperledger Fabric on the platform of Google Cloud.

The head of the Digital Asset and a former top Manager of the Bank JP Morgan Blythe masters, quoted by Computerworld, noted that the impending decision “will reduce technical barriers to blockchain developers”.

This step will help Google to be among the technology companies of the highest League, supporting the scheme of “blockchain as a service” (BaaS), along with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and Amazon.

In March, Google announced that is going from June to block any cryptocurrency advertising, following the example of Facebook (which, however, recently overturned a ban).

8 Jul Google co-founder Sergey Brin admitted that he engaged in the mining of aether. Speaking at the summit in Morocco, Brin said that mining gives him extra money, but cryptocurrencies are “amazing phenomenon”.
