Managing Director and technical strategist at Fundstrat Global Advisors Robert Slamer during the program, the Crypto Craze on CNBC said that from a technical point of view, the long-term dynamics of the bitcoin exchange rate remains positive and, probably, a break could happen in the coming days.

He also noted that the critical resistance is currently around $9500.

“What you need to that valuable paper, the cryptocurrency market as a whole changed direction? You need to find the bottom, then break or an upward or downward trend, depending on the situation, and then you can change the picture. Right now we are seeing the first phase”, — said Leimer.

He acknowledged that many analysts believe in the long-term dominance of bears and the falling prices of bitcoin to $5000 or even $3000, but he is confident in the possibility of a reversal after the conquest at $7800.

The head of the Agency Fundstrat Tom Lee is sticking with his forecast and still believes that by the end of 2018, the price of the first cryptocurrencies will overcome the mark of $25 000.
