“In the Polish legal system there are no rules prohibiting trade as exchanges or exchange points of cryptocurrencies, which means keeping on the territory of Poland activities in the form of a share exchange or cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency trading is not prohibited and, therefore, are legitimate,” the document reads.

However, the KNF said that since July 13, all actors in the field of cryptocurrency trading, will be the “compulsory institutions” under the act of March 1, 2018 “On combating money laundering and financing of terrorism”.
