Japanese financial services Agency (FSA) has denied published recently by Bloomberg information that shall consider and may approve the launch of exchange traded funds (ETFs) based on bitcoin.

In comments to Cointelegraph at the report of an anonymous source of news the representative of the financial regulator said that such a possibility at the moment is not considered, and the FSA have no idea who quoted the journalists.

Recall that in late December, the FSA presented the final version of the report, based on which the law may introduce new requirements for the regulation of kryptonyte. The document was prepared on the basis of previously published preliminary report and amended after the meeting of the working group for the study of cryptocurrencies. Document activities kryptomere and other providers of services using cryptocurrency is seen in 9 key areas, but they do not relate to the ETF.
