Babiroussa in Singapore cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin will go for maintenance on Monday, February 18, in connection with the forthcoming upgrade of its trading platform to version 2.0.

According to the report on the exchange’s website, the update will start from 08:00 local time (UTC+8) and is expected to last about 14 hours.

KuCoin will be performing a system upgrade for Platform 2.0. The upgrade process is expected to last around 14 hours.

During the maintenance period users will not have access to the platform. All pending orders execution will be saved to resume work after the upgrade is complete users will be given 30 minutes to cancel previously placed orders. Says the exchange, such opportunity will be presented for possible losses in connection with price fluctuations in the market.

About coming in the first quarter of 2019 the launch of version 2.0 of the framework KuCoin exchange announced in November last year, simultaneously with the receipt of the $20 million investment.

An updated version of the site will support more types of applications, and will offer “more effective, stable and a completely new API for trading and other new services.”

Earlier, the exchange KuCoin added the ability to buy cryptocurrency with a banking card.
