According to the developers, they have created a “universal hardware” that allows you to associate imToken with Ledger and the Taiwanese manufacturer CoolBitX, which this spring had invested the Japanese financial giant SBI Holdings.
According to CEO and founder imToken Ben Heh, this initiative aims to bridge the gap between software and hardware wallets, which ultimately will facilitate mass adoption of cryptocurrency.

Also Ben Heh noted that the interaction between wallets will be ensured through Bluetooth. This means that the new solution will not support based solely on a USB connection wallets, including popular among many cryptoendoliths Ledger Nano S.
Integration imToken with a Bluetooth-enabled wallet Ledger Blue is expected in December and Coolwallet S from CoolBitX in the first quarter of 2019.
