The developer of Ethereum Name Service (ENS) Nick Johnson (Nick Johnson) announced the new service users can bind their cryptocell and smart contracts to the domain .xyz. For this, they need to submit an application to the Registrar DNS or use the simplified service Registrar EasyDNS and configure the domain as well as in the case of .eth, available to users since the beginning of August this year.
In his blog, Johnson wrote that the first support ENS in the domain .xyz will be implemented in test mode. Then, making sure the correct innovations, it plans to roll out for practically all top-level domains. Thus, users will be more convenient for organizations addressing.
We will remind that earlier service the ENS signed an agreement with the owner and operator of top-level domains, Minds + Machines Group (MMX), which intends to start and to make available to users of Ethereum domain .luxe (lets u xchange easily). It is assumed that public registration of domains .luxe, preceded by a period of limited registration starts on October 30.
