The French company is a manufacturer of hardware cryptocell Ledger confirmed that it had identified an error in the mid-January update Ledger Nano’s, which reduced the amount of device memory.
In the Ledger also tried to convince users that it is not deliberately worsened functional characteristics of crypto before the release of new models – Ledger Nano X, equipped with high memory capacity. On the contrary – with version 1.5.5 the device had to demonstrate a higher level of security by using the new cryptographic algorithm.
Now the team is making every effort to correct the error. In addition, the support Ledger Nano’s will be added to launched in late January, the mobile app Ledger Live.
