Cybersecurity experts of Palo Alto Networks discovered a new malware attacking users of the Mac platform to steal access to cryptocurrency wallets and exchange accounts.

This Trojan steals CookieMiner corresponding cookies of the browser and saved in your Chrome passwords.

Experts also have documented that the program tries to steal SMS messages stored in an iTunes backup on the associated Mac device.

“Using stolen credentials hackers might try to circumvent multi-factor authentication and gain full access to the means of users,” warned Palo Alto Networks.
