For example, to the account of the holders of Ethereum Nowa was credited with additional coins, they had to send ETN to the address of the project to the private key, and then using another online tool that follows the design style MyEtherWallet (MEW), and ETN themselves. As it turned out, the only function of the clone of MEW to collect and send to the remote server user data, if they have activated the original browser extension MyEtherWallet, a tool they will not start and will be blocked as potentially dangerous.
The creators of the other fork, Ethereum Classic Vision, according to Guarda Wallet, under the form of API-token also used the code to transmit private keys on their own servers.
