Brokerage firm Tagomi raised $12 million in round of funding led by hedge Fund Paradigm. The latter created the co-founder of Coinbase Fred Arcam. This is stated in a press release.

“This round of funding clearly confirms the viability of our business model” — said co-founder Tagomi Jennifer Campbell.

Tagomi works on the model of “agency-only”, providing customers with consulting services on the execution of their trading or investment strategies. The firm also is looking for the most profitable deals for their clients among orders from other brokers.

The company began work in December 2018, offering services to investors in bitcoin, Ethereum and other digital assets. These include the inter-market order execution, asset management, post-trade reporting, settlement and custodian services.

A new package of investment will be directed to work with margin trading and lending.

Recall that in may 2018 Tagomi through Founders Fund invested co-founder of PayPal and billionaire Petel Thiel. Then in the round of financing was attended Digital Currency Group is Barry Silbert, Collaborative Fund and ZhenFund. Total investments amounted to about $16 million.
