Online encyclopedia Everipedia announced the launch of a P2P network based on blockchain EOS. About it reported in a press release.

New blockchain system will reward users with their own tokens for IQ adding and correcting materials. Coins give a voice and control in the network. Team Everipedia hopes this reward system to increase the influx of new editors articles.

“The goal of our ecosystem is to democratize the traditional model of an encyclopedia and make a fully offline resource without ads and donations”, — said in a press release.

Note, in Everipedia there are approximately six million English-language articles. Monthly online encyclopedia is visited by about one million users.

ForkLog previously reported that cryptocurrency trading Bank billionaire Mike Novogratz Galaxy Digital (GD) invested $30 million into the project Everipedia.

We will remind, in August, the founder of Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales stated that the encyclopedia will never draw or ICO to issue its own cryptocurrency.
