Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has started the final testing test support cryptocurrency Ethereum Classic.
It is expected that testing will be completed by August 7 and the exchange will be able to announce a willingness to accept incoming transactions ETC. Trading new asset must be started within 24-48 hours after testing is complete.
Full support ETC, you must add the asset to the exchange CoinbasePro (GDAX) and the traditional exchange platform. Support ETC will also be added to the Coinbase service Custody for storing crypto assets, Coinbase Prime, focused on institutional investors and Index Fund Coinbase, which is formed from all company-sponsored assets.
It is noteworthy that Ethereum Classic demonstrated positive dynamics on the background of this news and for a short period of time rose by more than 10%.
Yesterday, Coinbase announced the addition of the service cryptopedia Coinbase Commerce plugin for e-Commerce platform WooCommerce, which, according to the company, currently used by 28% of the existing online stores.
However, Coinbase Commerce has the opportunity to directly send money in bitcoins and Litecoin. In the future the same option will be implemented for Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash.
