Cboe Futures Exchange (CFE) announced on Thursday, March 14, will be adding this month new markets in bitcoin futures. According to the company, it is necessary to understand your own approach to the ecosystem of cryptocurrencies.
In his letter to investors, informing about adding of new products, the exchange at the same time, wrote:
“In March 2019 CFE adds futures contracts on Cboe bitcoin (XBT). CFE evaluates own approach regarding the plans for the further suggestion regarding derivatives trades to digital assets.”
At the same time, the exchange States that already placed contracts for bitcoin futures remain available for bidding. This means that the last of those listing contracts — XBTM19 – will expire in June of this year.
Trading bitcoin futures at the Chicago Board options exchange (CBOE) launched in December 2017, at the peak of prices on the first cryptocurrency.
