“The CBOE has issued a proposal to amend the rules for the bitcoin ETF VanEck-SolidX. All involved team did a great job,” — wrote the head VanEck strategy in the field of digital asset Gabor Gorbach in his Twitter.

The necessary changes in the rules, as originally booked in June last year, was withdrawn by the CBOE on January 22. The reason for this decision VanEck CEO Jan van Eyck called concerns about the likely failure of the SEC associated including the shutdown of the American government.

“We decided not to try to slip or do something like that, but just to withdraw the application and submit it again when the SEC will work again,” he said. Discuss current news and events on the Forum
