Bitcoin company Casa has opened the source code of your Lightning node to make the product more reliable for users. The company representatives stressed that at the moment are not going to create a full-blown opensource project.

So, the community will have access to the following repositories on GitHub:

  • Casa of the Node API
  • Casa Of The Node Dashboard
  • Casa Node Manager
  • Casa Node Updater

At the same time, all repositories will be opened in accordance with the license of Massachusetts Institute of technology (MIT).

Moreover, the project provided extension for Google Chrome and Firefox that allow nodes to interact with Casa in any web sites with built-in Lightning functionality.

Recall release nodes from the Casa was held in early September 2018.
