The project team æternity announced participation in the initiative IC3 (Initiative for CryptoCurrencies and Contracts). This was reported in the blog project.
IC3 was created by representatives of major educational institutions such as Cornell University, University College London, University of California, Berkeley, Technion (Israel). The aim of the project is the formation of a scientific base for creation of better and more secure blockchain systems. IC3 to participate such companies as IBM, Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, Siemens and Chain.

Constant updating in the areas of distributed consensus, cryptography, game theory, and system security will play a key role in the implementation of technology public blockchains commercial organizations. This is not the first case when æternity cooperates with the scientific community. Previously, the project announced a partnership with the platform for online learning dacade. In the framework of this agreement æternity team will create a special training course that focuses on developers of decentralized applications. According to representatives of the project, the course will consist of lectures and practical assignments, and written code students will be evaluated by the team æternity.
The project æternity developing blockchain platform with support for scalable smart contracts and decentralized apps. The basis of the Protocol of the project — the so-called oracles, which pull information from the real world in the blockchain. This solves the problem of the practical use of smart contracts. The project developers were originators of Ethereum and Augur. The campaign for funds held in 2017, the team was able to collect about $28.5 million
Recently æternity actively expanding beyond English-speaking community. In particular, the project added a Russian language section in your forum and created a blog on the platform of Golos. In addition, during fundraising, the team created the branch on the Bitcointalk forum and the official chat Telegram in Russian.
