Blockchain platform TON (Telegram Open Network), developed by the team of the messenger Telegram, will be launched in test mode until the end of fall 2018.
As reported in the company newsletter to investors, the developers has successfully completed development of the most critical components required to run the test version, and the platform is ready on 70%.
According to a person familiar with the details of development TON, written a part of the system represents a new, almost completely decentralized way of sharing data. Have over these low-level protocols to be completed, additional in the form of the blockchain, and then the TON platform will be fully ready to launch.
Telegram founder Pavel Durov has not yet commented on this information.
