Wednesday, November 14, the price of cryptocurrency first fell to one of its lowest values in 2018. As at 17:00 UTC the average rate of bitcoin, according to CoinMarketCap, $5877.72, the capitalization fell to $102 billion.
If we turn to the individual exchanges, Bitstamp price earlier fell to $5534, Kraken to $5510.
Support of $6000 has been broken and on Bitfinex, where the latter weeks of the first cryptocurrency was trading several hundred dollars higher. Here, the rate fell to $5860 ($6000 at the time of publication).
The minimum average bitcoin exchange rate this year was recorded on June 24 when the price dropped to $5826.41.
The price of bitcoin has been declining since the beginning of the week, but today’s drop, which was preceded by a break of the support level at $6200, were the most dramatic in the last 72 hours.
As seen in the table below, in the deep red zone is gone and most of the other cryptocurrencies, and the total market capitalization fell below the $190 billion the Last time at these levels, the capitalization of the market was September 11.
