Independent rating Agency Weiss Ratings issued a rating of 93 cryptocurrency. At this time, bitcoin has received a rating of “B-” (good) instead of “C+” (satisfactory) rating in January.

Just a list of the rating “B” have 14 coins. They include the ETH, IOTA, NEO, XRP, STEEM, TRX, and XLM. Assessment of “C-“, “C” and “C+” received 54 cryptocurrencies.

A rating of “A” and “b+” was not assigned to any of the 93 cryptocurrency. However, the Agency stressed that there is nothing wrong in this.

“Crypto-currencies should not reach “A” level to gain interest from investors. “B” or even “B-” are also qualified as investment grade rating equivalent to “buy.” At the same time, investors should not be too alarmed by the rating “C”. This is a passing grade; and for investors, it is equivalent to “hold”,” – commented the results of the evaluation in the Agency.

Recall that the Agency Weiss Ratings introduced the report with some of the leading cryptocurrency in January. It contained ratings of the 74th virtual currencies. Highest rating – “A”, lower “D”. The Weiss model combines a number of submodules: Risk (Risk), Reward (“Reward”), Fundamentals (“fundamentals”) and Technology (“Technology”).

Bitcoin in the January rating was rated characteristics of resilience “C+”; however, many members of the crypto community did not agree with this assessment.
