July 11, on the buildings of the Slovak banks, including the Central Bank of the country, for a short time in protest there was a huge emblem of bitcoin.

The initiators of the action were members of the Slovak branch of the Czech group of supporters of the cryptocurrency called Paralelni Polis. In Prague, this project brings together under one roof a cafe, a cryptocurrency hub and much more. The Bratislava branch opened this year.

July 12, organizers posted a Instagram video of protests against local banks which, in their opinion, hostile to cryptocurrency projects and users.

The members of the group write:

Crypto currencies are in relation to the banking sector what was for literature printing machine of Gutenberg. As the Church lost control over the process of hand-copying the books and Central banks are losing control of the new cryptocurrencies. Slovak banks instead exploit the many possibilities of cryptocurrency and to support developing the cryptocurrency industry, continue to remain in darkness generated by the position of regulators and the lack of a clear regulatory framework. Witch hunt in the form of a ban of cryptocurrency companies and the blocking of the operations of cryptocurrency exchanges continues. Lighting/education banks attempt to dispel the darkness. Just as in the XV century the darkness prevented the introduction of a revolutionary technology of printing, the twenty-first century threatens the flourishing of a new era of decentralized blockchain.

Since bitcoin got some distribution, Europe is faced with episodic attacks regulators for the institutions that serve cryptocurrency projects, especially the exchange.

As reported by Bitcoinist recently the Dutch Rabobank, and then a number of Polish banks have received notice of regulators that their response to threats allegedly coming from exchanges and similar services, “inadequate.” In contrast in Switzerland, the blockchain technology can be used on the level of local authorities.

28 APR blockchain hub Trust Square, which moved into the building opposite the National Bank of Switzerland, placed the emblem of the cryptocurrency number one on the building of the head office of the Bank:
