Japanese IT giant GMO Internet in October dramatically increased the Bitcoin mining Cash. Published in a recent report, the company stated that last month she was able mined 875 BCH. For comparison: the highest result during the period from December last year, the company revealed in February, producing 287 BCH. And the results of the July (0 BCH), August (25 BCH) and September (0 BCH) is allowed to make the assumption that GMO Internet no longer interested in this cryptocurrency.
While in October it produced 595 BTC. Compared to the previous months (July – 568 BTC, August – 510 BTC, September – 512 BTC) this result is more modest than in the case of BCH, but also demonstrates the activation and is GMO Internet best over the entire period of mining activities.
As explained by the company, changes in its activity are associated with the addition of new capacity from other manufacturers of equipment for mining cryptocurrency. Announced in October, Hasrat amounted to 674 PH/s, despite the fact that in the previous two months he was at 459 and 479 PH/s, respectively.
“We will continue to add mining equipment from other manufacturers for the domestic production of cryptocurrency. According to the plan, by the end of December we hope to achieve Hasrat more than 800 PH/s”, — stated in the explanatory Memorandum GMO Internet.
And to timely meet the delivery equipment of its own production the company was unable, citing delays in delivery of some components because of the “busy global balance of supply and demand” on them.
We will remind, in August GMO Internet shifted the emphasis in the cryptocurrency business towards sales of ASIC miners followed added their own priorities, mining and services to mining cryptocurrency for consumers. And in early October, the company announced that it begins full-scale preparations for the production of stable virtual currency with a view to use it for payments in their own cryptobytes.
